The role
Our facility at the HM Prison Langi Kal Kal is looking for an experienced Primary Care Nurse (PCN), Permanent Part-Time (0.4 FTE) to join their primary care team. HM Prison Langi Kal Kal is a minimum security prison farm located in Trawalla, near Beaufort. You will deliver a Nurse led model of care offering you significant autonomy and responsibility, in a safe and controlled environment. Working with this patient group is rewarding as the healthcare you provide can have a positive impact for a lifetime.

Shifts are from 7am to 7pm on weekdays and 7am - 1pm on weekends.
You would need to be flexible to work on a 7 day a week rotating roster. 

Essential experience and attributes include the following (selection criteria):

  • Registered General Nurse Qualification
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • A minimum of three year's full time post graduate nursing experience
  • Recent nursing experience in an acute and/or primary healthcare setting
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Intermediate to advanced PC skills
