About the role

The Step Up program works with adolescents aged 12-17 and their families, within a family focused framework to address adolescent violence in the home. The Step Up Practitioner utilises the case management model to support the young people within their families and provides an assertive outreach and engagement approach. The program also runs groups for the young people and parents engaged in the program.

Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Welfare Studies, Psychology, Family Therapy or related discipline.

About you

As a dedicated and committed individual, you will provide services to our young people and their families, providing in home support and case management services. You will complete thorough safety and wellbeing assessments, care plans and therapeutic interventions, applying a range of strategies to achieve client outcomes that are in the best interest of the young people and families. You will be driven to assist families to achieve long-term positive outcomes and be confident to run small group sessions with families engaged in the program.
